This book was amazinggggg i lovedd it! This book was inspiring! It was great! This makes me want to go back in time and help all the slaves run away! I would never ever do that to someone! I think that all people are equal no matter what their color is!
I think that people should never be treated this way it is horrible! Never treat people like this.

I really enjoyed this book. My favorite part was when Lottie and her mother reunite at the end of the story. The saddest part is when ten year old Lottie is sold away from her mother at a slave auction in Williamsburg, Virginia. This was a great book!

Lottie's Courage was such an awesome story! If you haven't read it, then you're really missing out.Lottie is a very brave girl for her age.Lottie gets sold to a mean person and is separated from her mom.She makes a friend named Weza and they both escaped. From then on Lottie becomes independent, brave, and determind to see her mother again. This is a very good book,so you should read about this amazing story about this little girl named Lottie.

Lottie's Courage was a great book! My favorite part was when her and her mother reunited in the end and the saddest part was when she was sold off to slavery and her mother and her were crying. I think one of the reasons i enjoyed this book so much was that it was written around our area.

"Lottie's Courage" was an amazing book. I zoomed right through it. The book held my attention the whole time. One of the reasons that I like it was because it was a mixture of things. It was sad, and upsetting but yet it was also amazing, and exciting. My favorite part was when Weza and Lottie broke through the chains on their march. And another one of my favorite parts was when she found her mother once again. ((:

This book is a really interesting book. I would recommend this book to anyone that doesn't like reading. I mostly liked and remembered the part of how Weza sacrificed her earrings to get away with Lottie after cutting the slave chains.

I enjoyed the book. It has some eerie moments which I loved because it made me want to read more. The book includes actual events that happened in the past and a bit of Virginia's history. And history is my favorite subject, so that was fantastic!!!!
